I think the 1995 300ZX is the best model year to buy, it came with HICAS, leather/suede interior, and is one of the last production years making them among the rarest.

The 1988 Shiro Special is a personal favorite of mine when it comes to the 300ZX. Though they are hard to come by.
What a gem, I almost had the chance to see one in person at a Z meeting but missed it.
But as much as I like the Z31, Z32 just ages SO well. Japanese automakers did so many things right throughout the 90s.
