JDM 97 Base Prelude

I recently purchased a freshly imported RHD 97 lude' from a dealer out in Cali. 53k original miles on the f22b but the only catch is that its an auto. The car runs and drives amazingly but my only problem with it is whenever I'm on the freeway I seem to get blown around the road by everything... wind, passing cars, and especially semi's. Do you guys experience this problem or know of any way to fix this? I realized its a lightweight car but I don't think a car passing me doing 85mph should be making enough wind force to push me out of my lane.

On another note since it is an imported car I've been struggling to find parts for it... currently looking for new CV axles but JP-carparts and Amayama don't have them.

Welcome!

Why did you go with a RHD Prelude vs LHD? (Other than the fact that they are hard to find).

How many miles/kilometers are on it? I suggest you start by getting an alignment done, replace tires if too worn, get the struts and suspension system inspected for wear. Do you hear any unusual sounds while driving on on local roads or the freeway?

Roughly 87,000km so like 54,000 miles on it. I've already replaced the no name Japanese coilers to stock 99' prelude struts, as well as put all 4 new tires on the car. I also got the car aligned and balanced after I did all this work. No unusual sounds at all... drives perfectly fine but when I'm on the freeway it just feels like a gigantic gust of wind is blowing me to the right or left... I can't really find a reason for it. Any ideas?

The only reason I bought this particular RHD prelude instead of a LHD is because the low miles (53k) and it was in perfect amazing condition, as compared to the LHD preludes on the market which most are beat into the ground. and not well maintained. However I would be lying if I didn't say the rarity of a RHD also did have some influence on the purchase haha

So from what I gather the car is all or mostly mechanically sound. What cars do you own and have you owned prior to the Prelude? Cars like it from the 90s can feel light on their feet, they have been known for superior power to weight ratio.

I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata as well but although the prelude is roughly 500 lbs lighter than the sonata it doesn't have an insane power to weight ratio as it as a bone stock SOHC F22b
